Public Disclosure Statements

Section 20 of the Members' Integrity Act, 1994, provides that all members of the Ontario Legislative Assembly are required to file a Private Disclosure Statement within 60 days of being elected and thereafter, once in every calendar year. The Integrity Commissioner has determined that the effective date of the annual private disclosure statements will be September 1st in each year.

Once the Private Disclosure Statement has been filed, each member is required to meet with the Commissioner to ensure that the required financial disclosure has been made, and on the basis of the financial information provided in each Member’s Private Disclosure Statement, the Integrity Commissioner prepares a Public Disclosure Statement in accordance with section 21 of the Members’ Integrity Act.
